Re: Gay Couple allegedly Married by Imam in Tafelsig (Cape Town)
Throughout South Africa the Muslim Community has been angered by the alleged incident. Muslims took to Social Media expressing their anger after a post surfaced on social media Regarding “A Gay Couple allegedly Married by Imam in Tafelsig”. We have been inundated with requests to investigate this matter. As a principle, we take the authentication of information very seriously and always strive to provide accurate information to the public. We’ve opened lines of communication with the parents so we can get the facts authenticated. Subsequently, members of the Cape Town Ulama Board met with the parents to ascertain the facts of this matter.
